Secondhand pistons and cylinders, need to hone the bores?

I am just about to start putting my 993 engine back together. I bought a set of 36k mile pistons and cylinders to replace mine and was wondering if I need to deglaze the bores with some scotchbrite. They do not look glazed and the cross hatching is clearly visible. I am using the rings that came with the set, but are replacing the clips that have been removed from the pistons (one side only). I have the rings off of the pistons and have cleaned everything up nicely.
