What would shipping to the CONUS be?
I can't help but believe that 10 years or so down the road we'll look back and wonder why we didn't jump on all these good condition pre '89 911's and store a few. The stock market is so wacky that I'm beginning to believe a tangible asset like a good air cooled 911 may be a decent investment "vehicle!" I have some old HMN's from the early 80's and it's painful to review Ferrari and Porsche pricing in those days...

There are a few "air heads" on the island, but apparently their plates are full. As for shipping I figure $1500 or so would get it to L.A.
I never thought of the car as an investment but rather a means to keep myself out of trouble and teach myself a few things.
