I'm also fearing that leak coming off the #4 cylinder. The car doesn't puddle, but I can see it drip after shutting it down. That's new.

Fixing the alternator is easy and not very expensive if you do it yourself. Getting the alternator out of my 85 is not difficult. I just took it to a local rebuilder. It was not much money and it has been fine for 8 years now.
