If you go low profile it really effects the gear ratio and ride hight. This can be a good on a track setup but annoying on the highway.
I use the original Fuch15's with low profile Kumo rubber as a track set up and it's awesome. However, takes 4500 RPM's to drive 70 on the highway and it won't clear most speed bumps.
