That is a STARTER ONLY button. Not a "start/stop" button and its doing exactly what it was designed for. It was NEVER designed to be pushed once the engine is running!
The dumb part is that if anyone pushes it in when the engine is running, like they are NOT supposed to do, they will destroy the starter gears and gears on the flywheel. Then they get to pay for their dumbness...
