Mine are a copy of the Hornig.........and longer.
I did think about making them angled, but you need 2 different bolt on spots to do that..........I just wanted to try this to see how it worked.
AHHHHHHHH........just reread what you wrote.....an angled cut and then the piece under the fairing would work.
I still think something like the Oberon extenders would be best.
About the o-rings..........I hate the broom stick grips.....the o-rings were a trial and worked pretty good, but with so much weight on my wrists, the o-rings just feel too hard.
Cycling bar tape worked really well on the grips, but the stuff I used was too slippery........still searching for the best set up.
