I'm not a hardware design guy, I'm an implementation guy. 24xGE is not core routing to me -- it's low speed.
I do quite a bit of wireless work myself. I am mainly a consultant dealing with many aspects of 3GPP GSM/UMTS/LTE network architecture but I have an extensive wireline background too.
