G, not sure if you ran into this on your entry to the US, but my cousin told us that while in Germany, he went to a website run by the DHS. He paid 14 bucks to fill out a form that had questions as to the purpose of his visit. If they answers checked out, he gets a printout to hand to customs. This should allow him to get through the lines more quickly on landing. He hands it to INS and they say oh you don't need this.. Then at customs, he gets asked pretty much the same questions as he had answered on the website. He set of bells, by saying he was visiting relatives. It was question after question after that. I told him he should have just said he was a tourist.

He also wasted 14 bucks.
