I have 2 8v 944 engines, that I'm parting out. The first is from an '83 (came in an '86 I parted). The cylinder head and a few other parts are missing. The block casing was repaired at some point (I was just going to scrap that), but the internals seem good. I was told by the previous owner this engine was running just fine, when still in the car.
The second is from an '87. This 944 had a bad automatic trans, with approx. 80k on it. I was told it ran just fine, before being parked (car had been sitting for quite a few years). When all together, it turned over nicely. A few parts have been removed from it.
Everything leftover from the engines is still available. If there is interest, I will sell them exactly how they sit.
