I trimmed mine down a bit and used the money to purchase new CDs. I kept about half. The half that I got rid of was stuff that I didn't think I'd ever listen to again. I guess there may be a few albums that I wish I had kept, but for the most part, I'm OK with it.
If you still want the music, then I would absolutely keep the CDs.
