OLEDs are defintiely game-changing and will be debuted at CES in a couple of days.
conventional "LED" TVs only use the LEDs to illuminate the LCDs - the LEDs replace fluorescent tubes.
OLEDs are the real thing - the LED IS the pixel.
Apple is getting in also.
