I stopped by a local panel beater yesterday and checked into having an aluminum Targa top made. The guy is a legend in the custom and hot rod fabrication department. My idea was to have a panel made to fit on the Targa folding frame and have a brushed finish with exposed rivits as fastners. He liked the idea and quoted me $1500.00 and about a week to make. That does not include installing it on the frame, I have to do that myself. Seems like a lot of money for something I don't really need and only am doing because I think its a cool idea.
