Was it the vacum line that caused the fire? I was teching a 951 at Lime Rock (PCA - DE event) and noticed a gasoline smell, and then saw the gas dripping out of the pressurized fuel line. We told Patrick (driver of said 951) to shut her down immediately! A mechanic was able to fix his problem on the spot, and he was able to run the event without any problems.

Yes, tech lines are an important thing for track duty.
