Yes, every million-mile eighteen wheeler out there has removed the turbocharger
And every 300K mile Mercedes turbodiesel has too
And the 275K mile 2001 VW Passat 1.8T in my stable only LOOKS (and acts) like it has the turbo -- the impellers were removed from the scrolls in the interest of long life
