Yes, they are crazy. My ex has remarried three times after our marriage. One dude killed himself with a gunshot thru the heart, one overdosed on coke and booze, and the most recent ran off and is living in a different state after just 3 months of wedded bliss.

After the last husband ran off, the roomate who remained behind was murdered a few weeks ago. My ex had nothing to do with it, but good heavens what a path of destruction she has left.

My daughter from the crazy ex showed me a facebook post from her mom (the ex) with what looks to be a wedding ring on her hand. This is odd because she is still married to the 4th husband and is currently in a womens only rehab clinic.
