There used to be a guy on our little community here named Doug Zielke. Not sure of the spelling. Canadian. Very nice fellow. He was collecting photos into a file called "Mechanical Mayhem." You can just imagine some of the carnage. At 3000 rpm, crankshafts are making 50 revolutions per second. 100 per second at 6000 rpm. When things come loose at that speed, the result is not pretty.
