Walt: I did see Phone Dials are heavier than FUCHS and Cookies. I'm not that interested in the Phone Dials. I would love to get a set of 15" (7" front and 8" rear) FUCHS. I would consider Cookies in 15" (6" front and 7" rear) or go for 7" all around, with the added benefit of being able to rotate the tires to even out wear.
As mentioned in the thread above, I have the factory 16" (6" front and 7" rear) FUCHS on my 87 Carrera now. If I switch to 16" 8" FUCHS in the rear for street use and move my 16"7" to the front and run 15" 7" in the front for DEs (FUCHS or Cookies), would I need to get longer bolts for the wheels? If so, are they difficult to replace? Thanks!
