There are many examples out there of average cars going over 500,000 or even a million miles when they are owned by people who can afford (and care) to maintain them.
I hate to sound anti-Porsche; but, I thinks it's more a testament to the the care and reverance these cars receive than the engineering.

Exactly . These cars are so fun to drive. I am willing to spend the $$$ on this car of mine. My former cars have never had much money spent on them I have a steady relationship with my indy repair shop much to my wife's annoyance
