What do you guys think? The guy will drop my Tranny and Re-seal for $1600. This does not include that I will be replacing the Torque Tube and Torque Converter Bearings myself.

I though you "had" to remove the TT and the Tranny as a Unit? He was charging me more labor since he said wouldn't have to remove the TT and just the Tranny to do the reseal. Since he will be replacing the TT with my Rebuilt one, he will have to charge more to remove the TT.

Anyways, I just wanted to hear what you guys have to say about his estimate and justification. I went to him since he fixed Al's (Evozine) 84 928 which didn't have a 4th gear in his Auto.
