My goof. I assumed tha A380 landed here as a buddy of mine flys them, but he must be doing that after he gets to Auckland or Christchurch.
Did I say godawful weather; this is today with waves getting blown over the end of the airport. Whereas yesterday it was perfectly still, glassy in fact, and I was out in this exact bit of water paddleboarding amoungst a pod of dolphins.
