Ps. Do big planes fly into Wellington NZ, I thought it was Auckland and Christchurch mainly.

Oh, I've cut my travel down to a minimum in the last several years. I used to love it, but in the long run, a hanger is a hanger and an airplane is an airplane, no matter where it is. They all start to look the same. And, after seeing my share of real "garden spots", I've kind of had my fill. That, and laying in a hotel room halfway around the world, just flat ass dog sick having eaten or drank something I shouldn't have, just isn't much fun anymore.
That, I've spent the last five years putting together our basic "tool kit" for our new airplane, the 787, which just entered service. I've been the only guy doing that, for the whole damn airplane. It's been a lot of work. That's kind of served to keep me more of a home body than usual for this past five years. As the fleet grows, however, and we start running into the inevitable in-service issues that will arise, guess who gets to start traveling again? The guy who designed all the tools and equipment. Not looking forward to it...
