Kept an eye out at the local tire shops and Craigslist. Sure enough a set of brand new, less than 20 miles, set of Rubicon wheels/tires came through. Picked them up for a couple of hundred dollars.

I got tired of the original wheels/tires from my wife's Rubicon taking up space, and sold them on CL- For more than just a couple hundred!
I bought a nice set of Koenig wheels for the Miata from CL. Tires were old off-brand junk, told the seller I wouldn't use the tires, and asked for a reduction in price. The seller was so tired of CL flakes promising to pick them up and not showing, she was thrilled just to get them out of her garage.
