Okay, here's an update.

Adjusted the linkage, but now I think I made things worse as I keep nicking R as I pull out of 5th. Replaced the ballcup bushing, but that was not the issue. The tunnel is dented so I am working on that issue now.

I've read numerous threads on adjusting the linage and people who rave about the results. Any suggestions on fixing this downshifting thing?
