There are several love/hate issues with an Allroad. I strongly suggest validating that the previous owner had proper maintenance records (preferably by the dealer) and religiously serviced this thing. Also verify, if possible, the previous owner's driving style. The biggest Allroad issues I know of are bad turbos, front suspension mechanical issues, active suspension malfunctions, and top-end valve train problems. All of these come from a combination of deferred maintenance and driving style.

It can be a difficult car for the DIY due to how tight it is packed. (I think that any of the 2.7 dual-turbo engines fall in this category.) There are also a fair number of special tools required that are difficult to improvise.
