It can be a difficult car for the DIY due to how tight it is packed. (I think that any of the 2.7 dual-turbo engines fall in this category.) There are also a fair number of special tools required that are difficult to improvise.

Add cam chain tensioner leaks, had mine done several times. Also noisy blower motors, and the dreaded 55 mph wobble from the front CV's. You can spend some serious bucks getting the wobble fixed. Was a fun car though, however I only owned mine for a short time after the warranty was up.
