The most Northerly USA state is Alaska - thats easy
The most Westerly state is .......... Alaska - it's closer to the 180 degree meridian than Hawaii.
The most Southerly state is .............Hawaii - way closer to the equator than any other the others.
The most Easterly state is ............ Alaska!!!!! Some of its islands cross over the 180 meridian and are therefore in the Eastern hemisphere. That's why the international date line does its zig-zag to keep them in the same time zone as the rest of the state.
