i remember going with my dad to the airfield, he was a hobby flyer, hanging out in the pilots lounge.. And spending time on the playing field while he was up flying.
there's a special kind of atmosphere in those places.. And that was just a local private airfield
The skydiving club, 400 meters further up was a completely different place, also very special athmosphere, but very , very different.
