Shocks are easy, do it yourself if simple upper and lower bolts.
Depends on how you use your truck, but Monroes or even basic Rancho 5000s are cheap crap that ride horrible..
Spring for the Rancho 9000's, and they have a side can click adjust knob so you can easily tune the dampening stiffness whether your truck is loaded or unloaded.
