Every two weeks, let them know you are still alive.
That is not annoying. They might have already groomed someone. You don't know.
Eventually, you will get a person to person interview. That is where you really have to "sell yourself".
I have always been a good BS'r and telling the truth too but person to person is the best way to secure employment.
Keep reminding them that you are still interested at two week intervals.
One way or another, they will tell you what is on the horizon.
