absolutely YES....

stock bushings have an elongated hole and are made from rubbery material = built in slop and built in "give" (cushion)

when rotating to get to the 1-2 plane the amount of input to the gear selector is reduced to the transmission because of this cushion...and the overall throw from 3-4 for example is increased in the stock ones due to the elongation

a comparison - like trying to brush your teeth wearing Ski gloves
