This tail does not bolt on to the standard deck lid.
The tail that was available on the '84 and later Carrera is non period correct and not as attractive as far as I am concerned.

I totally agree with what Scott said. I also have been using the early whale tail for over 2 years and love it. I'll try to post better pics when I get home.
