I've never understood doing that. I have a '47 Dodge pickup (same body as a '39) and it is so cramped and uncomfortable I can't imagine enjoying it for anything other than its historical interest. I'm 6'2" and I'd be more inclined to put an S-10 body on a '39 Dodge frame. It might be slow, but there's room in the cab for both legs and both arms.
