I wonder how much Porsche develops their cars? Do they actually strip some out to see how they perform as a GT2/3 racer? Being that it's a bigger car, I would expect that in race trim, it will be heavier compared to the outgoing 997. Perhaps the new engines will have to make up some lost ground before the race even begins.
PS: one thing I do hate is not being able to see the engine.
