928 guy that spent $60,000 rebuilding his motor offered to give me his stock cams.

Here are the current numbers I am looking at...

Cost to repair and put back stock $3500, 350 bhp (stock hp)

Port and Polish heads add $1000, 380 bhp

GT cams add $1800, 405 bhp

Port and Polish heads and GT cams add $2800, 425 bhp (only adder dyno verified)

Stage2 cams, requires new valve springs. bigger injectors, add $3500, 475 bhp

Port and Polish heads and Stage2 cam w/springs and injectors, add $4500, 514 bhp

At above 500 hp 5th gear (main shaft) in the manual transmission breaks. Seems to be the weak link.
