Hi All,

My '86 944 NA recently failed smog with high NO numbers. HC were good, and CO were really low. After doing a good amount of reading in the forums, I started looking for a vacuum leak. I made a contraption and put in ~10psi to the intake boot. The old boot was leaking terribly from a tear on the bottom, so I replaced it.

Now, when I pressurize the system again, I hear/feel a big huge leak from the bottom of the air/oil separator, where it connects to the engine block. Is this expected or common? Does it mean I have to replace the AOS seals?
