Thanks for the comments. I really lucked out on the wood. Got it for $70 from a former student. It looks better and certainly has straighter grain than most of the stock blanks in the class. Did some more work today, will get the pictures up tomorrow. Also decided to bring it home and try and finish the inletting this weekend. If I do, I can start shaping next Wednesday!
