This is a fun thread, so I'll add a little to it.
I have ridden off and on for over 50 years, but only recently took an interest in sport bikes. I'll blame my grandson for that, inviting me to go riding with him on his new (to him) sport bike. His was actually the first one I really looked at, other than Ducs. So, before I knew it, I had one of my own and knew that I needed to practice someplace where it was safe. So, off to the track.
I was 65 at the time (hence the number), and after the initial nervousness was past, I felt right at home. Not very fast maybe but I still had fun and learned a lot. I also learned that the only
safe place to ride fast is the track.
Thanks for starting this thread. It is winter for many riders.
