I ran mine through the tunnel along with my boost hose to my boost gauge. Not easy with many things there to get in the way and piss you off etc... but if you have about 2 hours you'll fish wire or something through and pull it back out from under the shift area. Mounted my AFR gauge in the console with a custom plate. No need to drill. Have fun.
