I don't play the lottery either. I consider it a tax on the math impaired. I see folks wasting money on it all the time. The clerks at the store where I buy beer sell lottery tickets. I have asked them if they ever buy tickets and they all say NO. The see the odds of winning all day long.
There is a horse racing track & casino just 6.5 miles from my house. In the last 25 yeras I have been twice, but not in over 20 years. The two times I went was shortly after they opened up for business. I had 20 bucks to blow on the horses. It is fun to bet on a horse and see it race. It was just pure entertainment like going to a show. I blew my 20 bucks and left.
I started drinking coffee because of the Porsche Club.

Back in 1980 or so the president of the region at the time suggested we meet for breakfast once a month. There were times when it was just me and one or two other members. Eventually it grew into a popular event. We usually have 10 to 30 members show up to eat and chat. I have never had anything but black coffee. I have never tried sugar or the other foo foo coffee. The wost coffee without a doubt is Starbucks. That stuff is just burned and nasty tasting. Yuck.
