The 400 will do a little better than that, I can't say I've "pinned" mine but I'd expect it to pull 90 at the least.
I've had a couple of KLR's and a BMW 650 Dakar. I kept the KLR. They do nothing great but do a lot of things half-ass well. You can pick one up for $2500 or so. A mule of a bike.
