I have one in my '68. Not the best sound in the world...on the other hand, it's not the worst sound either.
If you're looking for a way to catch a little news or weather...maybe some tunes from time to time without cutting up pristine door panels or doning something else that a little too "noticeable" it's not that bad an option.
