This was sorta hypothetical, but pretending I am the "slow" guy...
Who is HE to think I should have to slow down to let him by? Just because he didnt leave sooner, I get to my destination later? Pretty arrogant on his part. Why is he more important than me?
He can go as fast as he wants, but I should not have to slow down to let him.
IMO as long as I am still passing traffic I have the right to be in the fast lane. I am still "faster" than average traffic and entitled to be in the fast lane. Its not called the fastest lane, so why does he has more rights than me?
If I come up on somebody going slower than me, but they are passing traffic, I give them room and when available, I make the pass. I do not expect them to alter their drive to accommodate me.
