I have a Powerstroke Ford Excursion and will never sell it. In order to get a comparable truck I am in the $55K range, and there is no way I will spend that. Thats 997 and almost 996 GT3 Territory. Not too mention none of the Big 3 make an oil burner full sized SUV anymore.

We have a 2003 Ford Excursion w/6.0 turbo V8 and a 2006 Ford Flairside pickup. The Excursion is hands down the best tow vehicle we have ever owned, gets 21-22 mpg when not towing (trip mileage) and can carry 7 people and their luggage! The F150 has the 4.6 V8 (gas) and gets about the same fuel mileage as the Diesel. Would not want to part with either one of these vehicles! The Excursion now has 130k on the clock and the F150 61k. Both should be good to go for years to come! Who knows, maybe sometime down the road I will drop a 5.0 engine into the F150 and have a super truck!
