It depends. I give them money sometimes. I don't give able bodied young people money. I've told more than one to F-off. If they're agressive, I simply leave. I've had a couple cross the line, and I've challenged them, but it was pretty clear they were totally nuts. Theres no one there to reason with.
Men in suits and uniforms who claim that they're 'there to help' scare me more than the homeless.
