If I were to speculate, however, based solely on the information in the link I'd say they'll convict of second degree murder.
What really pisses me off though, is this lawyer's remark,
"He contributed to her death but he did not kill her," . Yeah, a fractured skull and brain damage
actually killed her. Talk about focusing on minutiae, completely out of context, to absolve him of responsibility! What an insult to the intelligence of us all.
