Haven't seen Vas post in a while. I guess he is enjoying time with his GF, maybe out in the bush for some alone time.

I got my front suspension program refined more this weekend with better measurements. Also made progress on some other engineering projects I have going. And got some nice bike rides in the Santa Monica Mountains. So a good weekend.

I am still figuring out tire pressures for the 911. Yokohama Advan A048s. 205-55-16 and 225-50-16 on 16x7 and 8 Fuchs. The rear we are running 29 psi hot and the front started at 24 then went up to 25.5. We had added air to the front before the test drive
but I noticed understeer. I am not sure if it is due to the new rear tires (so more grip back there than the cords) or the front tire pressures being too high. They were 18 cold before and felt fine. Not sure where to go from here. I had to clearance (with a file/rasp) the corners of the bumper because the outside shoulders of the tires were just barely kissing them when loaded in a turn with just the right amount of steering angle dialed in. So that was distracting me. Even with 22/27 torsion bars, 22mm front and rear anti-roll bars, and a lightened car, it still rolls too much in turns. Or maybe we are going too fast.

I will be signing off Pelican for the night now.
