At that time ANDIAL was officially Porsche Motorsports North America so they had complete factory support and resources. It wouldn't be that much of a technical stretch for them to work with the DME because they were Porsche's racing outlet in America.
The reason that ANDAIL isn't still acting as Porsche Motorsport North America is the dealers complained loudly because there was '
this independent Porsche shop' acting as the motorsports division.
