Hi - we recently bought a 99 boxster, ~65k mi, automatic. It was in so-so condition. Got my mechanic to fix a bunch of stuff on it, but now we are having a weird issue.

Very occasionally the car starts to sputter and loses power. If you pull over, shut off the engine and start it back up, it runs perfect. If you let it sit, or try and drive, it will go on indefinately. When this happens it throws a check engine code for a fuel injector, but they said there is no issue with any of them. Mechanic thought it was a battery/ground issue but can't find anything

any other ideas?
