I would be concerned with petroleum products and O-rings. Except for Vaseline, grease/oil products are not recommended on rubber products; it soften neoprene/rubber. As I provided, the Harvey's brand 90% silicone is very similar to Corning111, it is available in the plumbing depts as "plumbers grease" and is fairly inexpensive. In small amounts, enough to lube an O-ring it should work. It might even work for the fuel hose/barb connection altho I like the hot water, mico'd in a thermal mug, the best.
