Put the seat in your normal driving position and have someone do the broom handle test (broom handle on top of roll bar and top of wind shield) on the position of your head in relation to the top of the roll bar. It's how your measured for track driving (along with having to have seats bolted directly to the floor and 4 or 5 point harness depending on who's rules your driving under) and will tell you if you're sitting too high for the roll bar to be effective. It doesn't matter if the roll bar works in roll over protection if your head is above it.
